Guide and managed service

Facebook group monitoring without endless scrolling

Tell us which public or private groups matter and what a good lead looks like. We will set up monitoring from our own accounts and filter out ads, discussions, and random mentions. Your Facebook account is never connected or used.

  • Public and private groups
  • Tropado's own accounts
  • Your account stays disconnected

Key difference

Private groups too. Your account stays out.

Many monitoring tools stop at public content or rely on a customer's account. Tropado works differently. We use our own monitoring accounts.

01

Private groups included

When our monitoring account is accepted by the group's admins, Tropado can monitor posts inside that private group.

02

Our accounts, not yours

You never share a login, password, active session or access to your Facebook profile.

No ban risk to your Facebook account from Tropado monitoring. We do not connect to or use your account. Monitoring runs from our own accounts and infrastructure.

A valuable post quickly disappears under new conversations

In an active Facebook group, a valuable post can disappear under new conversations within minutes. General notifications show activity, but they do not understand whether the author needs your exact service or is only discussing the topic.

Useful monitoring starts with a clear description of a strong signal. That might be a request for a recommended contractor, a direct property opportunity, or an urgent problem your company can solve. Contextual filters can exclude job posts, spam, and irrelevant locations.

Meta describes its native keyword alerts as a tool for admins in groups they manage. Tropado is a managed service configured around your selected sources and business criteria.

Three signals worth catching

You are not looking for every use of a keyword. You are looking for moments when someone has a specific need and is ready to start a conversation.

01

Recommendation request

The author is actively collecting options and comparing providers or contractors.

  • who do you recommend
  • looking for a company
  • trusted contractor
02

Direct opportunity

An owner posts an offer, project, or requirement before it reaches a broader market.

  • off market
  • need a quote
  • subcontractor needed
03

Urgent problem

Response time matters because the prospect needs help today or in the next few days.

  • need help today
  • urgent
  • who is available

A simple setup playbook

We configure the first accounts personally. We start narrow, review match quality, and expand monitoring only after the signal is clear.

  1. 01

    Select groups

Choose up to 10 places where your real prospects ask for help or share opportunities.

  2. 02

    Define the signal

Describe the service, location, budget, or other conditions behind a good match.

  3. 03

    Add exclusions

Filter out job seekers, material sales, spam, and conversations outside your area.

  4. 04

    Prepare the response

Give one person ownership and use a short, useful reply that fits the group.

See why a post is worth your attention

Every alert includes the relevant excerpt and the reason it matched. Instead of opening dozens of notifications, you start with posts that could lead to a sale.

Frequently asked questions

Does Tropado use only keywords?

No. Criteria can include context, location, type of need, and exclusions. This helps separate a genuine remodeling request from a job post or a material sale.

How many groups can I monitor?

The current plan covers 10 selected groups. During onboarding, we help prioritize the places with the strongest concentration of relevant signals.

Can Tropado monitor private Facebook groups?

Yes. Tropado can monitor a private group after one of our own monitoring accounts is accepted by that group's admins.

Do I connect my personal Facebook account?

No. Monitoring runs from Tropado's own accounts. We never ask for your login, password, session or profile access. Because your account is not used, Tropado monitoring does not put it at risk of a ban.

Where do alerts arrive?

Matched posts can be delivered by email and SMS so the right person can open the source and respond quickly.

Stop searching for leads by hand. Let the right posts come to you.

Public and private groups are supported. Monitoring runs from Tropado's accounts, so your Facebook account is not exposed to ban risk from Tropado monitoring.
